Laura, Mark and Benson spent the weekend with us. It was so much fun to have family here again. Benson is walking like crazy and we are teaching him to ride as well!

Jacob has been transferred!

Here is his latest letter.

Well again life as a missionary cant stay calm for too long. I'm gettting transfered to Sunny Side Washington. I am getting another greeny and doubled into a rough area. I will also be getting a car.(I havent driven for 7 and half months). Should be very interesting. Its sad leaving this area where I'm at now because Ive made such good conections with people but it's time to go as well. My finger splint should come off today so that will be good. The place I'm going too is in a members home and really nice and fancy. Weight set, pingpong table, and unlimited grape juice.(its on a vineyard) That will be good! I'm excited but also nervous. Especially with a greeny and I dont even know the area. Well This letter is going to be short but I love you all very much and Katy's pictures are really cute!

Look What Amy Brought for Mom and Dad

Amy brought this little donkey home with her. It was from a wild herd that was running on the ranch where Joe is working. It was sick and needed some attention so the foremen gave it to Amy. We haven't named her yet so if you want to help, send a name.
So far the suggested names are Shrek, Larry and Eyora. It might help to know that she is a jenny. Thanks for the suggestions. Keep them coming.

The Gypsies have come home!! Greg and Bitsy are in Kermit

Greg and Bitsy slipped out of Beaumont as Hurricane Ike came in. They are expecting a baby in March so they decided to stay here and teach until the baby comes. Bitsy is teaching Kindergarten and Greg is teaching 7th grade math. They are living in our tiny mouse house at the shop. It is so fun to have them here.

Amy is also home for a little while. She is transitioning between jobs and is not sure exactly where she will go next. She has had an offer at the Triangle Ranch near Childress. It is a huge ranch owned by the church. Today she got offered to long term subsitiute for a Pre-K class. She brought home the cutest little wild donkey. It was running with a wild herd and was really sick. I sometimes wonder what our neighbors think about what shows up in our backyard.
